The buzz in North Kansas City is louder than ever- with the Hornet Football team starting off with a 3-0, and the city is starting to notice. Defeating Battle High school in Columbia; 56-22, Keeping up with Park Hill High school; 69-51, and a wipe out against Excelsior Springs; 48-10. Throughout that time Coach Joiner was named Kansas City Chiefs 'Coach Of The Week' going into the Finalist for the Eric Driskell Coach of the Year award. 
        Senior quarterback Mehki Fields says "Our Expectation is to get better, improve from last year.. and go 1-0 every week, that's what our coach says." With momentum building each week, they're quickly proving they're a force to be reckoned with, asking Mekhki what we should expect for this Fridays game against St. Joe Central he stated "A win for sure."
