The Hornets coming off a big win over the Lee's Summit Tigers 36-20. The Tigers quarterback ,Tommy Lock, threw for 3 Interceptions against the defense. The secondary of the Hornets is looking as strong as ever led by

Malik Johnson who nearly average an interception per game. This week the Hornets travel to take on Park Hill South to decide the conference. Both teams enter having a 4-2 record on the season. Northtown is looking to take the conference crown for the third year in a row which has not been done in school over 100 year history. Park Hill South led by junior quarterback Nathan Ricco the Panthers defeated Staley 28-14 last week. Star wide receiver Mudia Reuben added two passing touchdowns. The Hornets, who boast one of the top defenses in the metro, are ready to go. "We worked hard all week (some of us banged up), but we are ready to go execute tomorrow" said senior Bawaan Huiessin.
