The North Kansas City Hornets are on a roll this season. Sitting at 5–1 and ranked among the top 10 teams in the state and have become one of the most exciting football teams to watch in Missouri. This Friday, October 10th, they'll face off against cross-town rival Oak Park in what promises to be one of the biggest games of the year. Oak Park defeated North Kansas City last year 28-21.

After dropping a close match up vs Kearney, North Kansas City bounced back with a win vs Grandview 61-7. The Hornet offense has been firing on all cylinders — mixing a strong running game with explosive passing plays — while the defense continues to make big stops in key moments. Players and coaches alike have praised the team's focus and effort week after week.
