The Hornets offense suffered three fumbles, and had a hard time recovering momentum after those.

Keilan Powell snagging two interceptions and two tackles.
The defense proved tough against the Fort Osage run game.
"We lost to ourselves; we didn't lose to Fort Osage," Junior defensive lineman Dominique Orange said.
The Hornets take on the Platte County Pirates at 7pm on Friday, Sept. 18 at Pirates Stadium in Platte City, Mo.
