This week is looking very good for North Kansas City Football, as they look to take revenge on the Staley Falcons, this Friday at 7:00. The last time these two teams met up, the Hornets were shooting for a state championship, but fell short in the end 21-3. This time, the Hornets have more talent than ever before. Led by QB1
Kail Williams, TE/LB
Daniel Joiner Jr., Defensive Lineman
Domonique Orange, Cornerbacks
Keilan Powell and
Malik Johnson, this football team is looking to take revenge, riding a hot streak from last week's 42-37 win against Platte County, and they look to dominate the Staley Falcons in the same fashion. "As long as we play as a team and worry about our own assignments I think we will be just fine",
Malik Johnson says.
Â
The Falcons, however, are looking to rebound after a disappointing start to the season. Having a 1-3 record and losing many starters this year does not help, but their Senior QB, Jehr Fowler, will look to make a comeback to a still promising season. The Falcon's will also look to continue their dominance over the Hornet's having never lost to Northtown.Â
Â
It is going to be a long, hard game for both sides, but one of these teams will come away with a victory, and you better place your money on the stronger, faster, and more experienced North Kansas City Hornets, because this game will be one for the ages. Junior Blake Jarwin tells me "I think we just need to play sound in all phases of the game and we will come out with the victory".
The game will be streamed on the N2 Sports district Youtube channel:Â Â Â
