It's time to hit the green for the Northtown Men's Golf team. Expectations are high for this team, especially to make up lost time from last year.  Head coach Joel Peace sees the potential in this squad, and he thinks they can do some incredible things.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    
 
"Very excited about the upcoming golf season – especially since we didn't get to have a season last year.  We have 4 players returning that have experience and have played before.  Our most experience player is junior Logan Blazek.  Logan had a very good freshmen season 2 years ago and played varsity the entire year that year.  I look for Logan to have a solid year and most likely, be our # 1 golfer. 
 
               "As a team we have several other returners in Nick Dunn, Joe Winfrey, and Hank Word.  I look for each of these three to step up and play varsity and improve as the season goes on."
 
This team will look to compete for a conference and even state championship with the varsity squad it's making, and this team will look to master their game every chance they get. Expect the Northtown Golf Team to perform at top level for their entire season. As a member of the team myself, I am extremely excited for this season, especially since last year's season stopped short.
