NKC girls basketball seniors Deedee Newton and Macey Willmann reached a major milestone this season, each scoring their 1,000th career point. Both athletes have been four-year varsity players, making an immediate impact as freshmen and growing into leaders for the program during their senior campaigns.
Newton achieved the mark with her aggressive, high-energy style of play, consistently attacking the basket and stepping up in key moments. Willmann reached the milestone through her steady shooting and basketball IQ, providing a reliable scoring presence and calm leadership on the court. Together, they have been central to NKC's success over the past four seasons.
While the individual accomplishments are noteworthy, Newton and Willmann remain focused on team goals. With postseason play ahead, the senior duo is determined to use their experience and leadership to help NKC make a deep run and finish their high school careers on a high note.
