Domonique Orange the football star has brought a lot of attention to this Northtown football team.
Domonique Orange is a 6'3, 300lbs, class of 2022 force to be reckoned with on the field. A 3-year varsity starter has done a lot and it's just the beginning. This year Domonique has already recorded 50 tackles and 8 sacks, with the playoffs coming he'll be able to develop even more.
"North Kansas City High School has brought me a long way and I'm very thankful for the coaching staff that saw my talent, and what they have helped me become."
Orange is excited to see how far the team can go this year, and he's planning on leading the team to even bigger and better things next year for his senior year. Orange is currently sitting at 15 offers as the season is winding down. "The process of being offered is overwhelming, but it feels good being noticed by big programs such as Alabama and Georgia. At the end of the day I want to be able to go anywhere I want."
People with offers tend to think that they have made it to the top, but not Orange he thinks he still has a lot to improve on." One thing I can improve on is being faster. I feel like if I get faster, I can make more plays. I also want to have more stamina so I can play at my highest potential every snap." Orange is a humble person who loves the football team and hopes his teammates can make it to the top with him. "One thing I noticed about getting offered is once one comes they keep coming and you just have to be humble about it."
