In an exhilarating match  On September  26, 2024 the North Kansas City volleyball team faced off against their rivals, Oak Park High School, in a highly anticipated showdown. With the stands packed and the energy electric, The match began with a strong start from North Kansas City, as they quickly took control in the first set. Led by standout performances from senior LynnAnn Koch, the Hornets executed powerful serves and strategic plays, ultimately securing the first set. Oak Park rallied in the second set, demonstrating their resilience and fighting spirit. They capitalized on a few unforced errors by North Kansas City and managed to pull ahead, winning the set. The tension in the gym heightened as both teams showcased their determination to clinch the win. The Hornets pulled away in set 3 and 4 and completed the win against cross town rival Oak Park!
