Knipp is a Bright Spot Now & For the Future

It must run in the family. With two generations come and gone, sophomore Abby Knipp is continuing her family's legacy on the field for the Northtown Women's Soccer team. After missing out on her freshman year, Knipp came back more determined to make an instant impact for this varsity squad.

Currently, Knipp is dominating with 16 Goals, and 12 Assists through 11 games, which leads the team. But what Knipp can do goes beyond the stat sheets. From setting up teammates, forcing turnovers, controlling the midfield, or creating fast breaks, Knipp can and has done it all for this team. With 2 years ahead of her, she is among the many bright spots on this team for both the present and future of this club. Head Coach Kali Park also sees the success in Knipp's game. "Abby has been an amazing addition to our team this season. She does a great job helping control our midfield. Her speed on the field allows her to create more success for us offensively."

Knipp has the entire skillset to do anything asked of her on the field, and that makes her a dangerous threat on an already dangerous team. With Knipp's help, the NKC Women's Soccer team is in a prime position to fight for a conference championship, as well as a trip to state. Knipp is top tier talent, but it is her leadership that has been leading team towards victories. Opponents better watch out for #3 on the soccer field, because you bet, she will be making highlight plays every minute of the game, leading our women's soccer team to victory.
