There have been some great duos in the world of sports. Brady and Gronk. Kobe and Shaq. Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. But none of these duos compare to the bond that Northtown sees on the soccer field in sophomore Jaeda Roth and junior
Corrina Roth. This is their first official year playing together for the Hornets, but Jaeda and Corrina have been playing dominating together since they were kids. "I love playing with Corrina so much. She is my best friend, and we have the nice sister bond, so I think it good that we are on the same team," said Jaeda.
Â
"I love playing with Jaeda. I think we are a lot better as a pair, since we already do a lot of stuff together, so it makes sense to play soccer together too. We work well together, we motivate each other, and it's just a lot of fun getting to play with her and getting to do things together," said Corrina. Â
Â
While these two shares plenty of good times together, they fight like any other sibling relationship, even when on the field. "We played this game during practice a few days ago, and Jaeda said she'd give $5 to whoever got me out first, which was super annoying." Corrina said. Â Even when the Roth sisters are fighting with each other, they put their all into the game, which has reflected on the field a lot this season.
Â
Both of these sisters have had a strong season so far, but they play at their best when they are both on the field at the same time, working off each other with that impeccable chemistry. They have been one of the many driving forces towards the Girl's incredible season, and they will be key factors going towards districts and possibly state. The Roth sisters are a cornerstone for the Northtown Women's Soccer team, and absolutely nothing can get in their way on the road to success.
